Checklist

  1. Does the customer need a LAN installed/upgraded at the same time?
  2. Work with the customer to fill out the NICR and then send it to UMNet-Admin@umich.edu. The NICR provides information such as the administrator's name, location, protocols required, etc.
  3. Check wtih UMNet-Admin to make sure we have capacity for this attachment.
  4. Is there a DL switch located in the building?
  5. Does the customer need more than one subnet?
  6. Customer VLAN/Trunking requirements?
