Faculty & Staff Billing Information

Auto Email Notification Service

This automated email service correlates with all Telephone Service Requests submitted to ITCom from university units. It is designed to inform the person listed in the Contact section of the order, as well as the DeptID Manager, of information related to the particular service requested. The two types of notifications that these individuals will receive are outlined below:
    ITCom Work Order Open Notice
    This email is delivered after 5:00 p.m. the day the order is received and provides the following:
    • ITCom Order Number
    • Customer Service Representative
    • Description of Service Requested
    • Order Status (Open as of XX/XX/XX)
    • Due date
    • Estimated charges
    • Chartfields that the order will be billed to

    ITCom Work Order Closed Notice
    This email is delivered after 5:00 p.m. the day the order has been closed in our database. This means that the work has been performed and the necessary steps have been taken to post any associated charges. This email provides the following:

    • ITCom Order Number
    • Customer Service Representative
    • Description of Service Requested
    • Order Status (Closed as of XX/XX/XX)
    • Original Estimated charges
    • Final Charges
    • Chartfields that the order will be billed to

    *Note: The sender's name (the name listed in the "From" section on the email will appear as, "CRON id for Telephone Mngt System"). If a Telephone Service Request is received and completed in the same day, the contact person and the DeptID Manager will only receive the ITCom Work Order Closed Notice.
