Tips
Make sure you speak clearly and directly into the telephone, the U-M automated operator service can become confused by background noise from radios, cellular telephones or speakerphones.
You can say or speak your choice at anytime without waiting to be prompted.
If you choose the department directory during business hours your call will be routed to a U-M telephone operator, during non-business hours your call will be routed to a night service message.
