Video Conferencing Service and Rates

Video Conference Room

ITCom has a reservable video conference room in Building 2 of the Arbor Lakes complex at 4251 Plymouth Road. The room seats up to 15 people around a large oval table. It is equipped with a Polycom View Station 512 with H.323 (IP) and H.320 (ISDN) connections, projector, and screen. If your conference will involve multiple locations (that is, more than a two-way, point-to-point connection), then use of our Multipoint Conference Unit (MCU) is required at additional charges.

Note: The customer is also responsible for any long distance charges that may result from the conference.

To schedule the ITCom Conference Room, please use the online room request form. To schedule the MCU, please call ITCom Customer Service at 763-2000, option 4, (at least several days in advance of your event) to see if the unit is available at the time you need it, then use the online MCU request form.

Multipoint Conference Unit (MCU)

A Multipoint Conference Unit (MCU) is a bridging device that enables audio/visual connections between participants in several locations. Our MCU can be utilized from our conference site or from your conference site, if you have the videoconferencing equipment in place, including ISDN or IP connections. Conferences can be set up as Voice Activated (Full Screen), Continuous Presence ("Hollywood Squares"), or Lecturer Mode.

* Once the site is in the MCU database, the Site Registration charge is waived for future events.
** If the conference happens on a predictable recurring basis, there is only one Conference Setup charge.
