Telephone Repair ServiceResidence Halls, Northwood Community Apartments, Lawyers ClubWhere to Call for RepairCall 647-8888 (option 1) if you need telephone repair service. Repair HoursNormal repair hours are 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. In most cases, Repair Service will respond to repair calls within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays). Please call during business hours unless your repair is an emergency. Authorization for RepairRepair personnel will present proper identification and work orders when they respond to a repair call. When you call Repair, you are authorizing a Repair employee to enter your room or apartment. Access to Residence Hall or Lawyers Club rooms can be given by the staff at the Front Desk. Northwood apartment family residents will be asked to provide a four-hour time frame for apartment access. What Repair Service will RepairRepair Service repairs U-M telephones, modular jacks, and telephone lines at NO ADDITIONAL COST unless the cause for repair is determined to be the fault of the customer. In such cases, time and materials will be charged to complete the repair. Repair Service does not repair customer-owned equipment or equipment rented from another company.
